Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Saker Card handles personal information when you use our website, mobile application, support channels, and related services.

Effective: September 21, 2026Contact: developer@sakercards.com

1. Scope and who we are

Saker Ventures Limited, trading as Saker Card ("Saker," "we," "our," or "us"), develops and operates the Saker mobile card experience and the website at sakercards.com. We are registered in Hong Kong at Unit 513, 5/F, 143 Wai Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong. This Privacy Policy applies when you visit our website, create or use a Saker account, contact support, or otherwise interact with the Saker service.

Saker is currently in private beta. Product availability and the providers involved may vary by region and account eligibility. Any additional provider-specific privacy notice shown during enrollment also applies to that provider's handling of information.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: email address, account identifiers, communication preferences, and acceptance of applicable terms.
  • Identity and eligibility information: name, date of birth, phone number, address, nationality, verification status, and related information required for identity, sanctions, fraud, and eligibility checks.
  • Support communications: messages and materials you choose to send when asking for help or exercising a privacy right.

Information generated when you use Saker

  • Financial and transaction information: account balances, deposit instructions, public blockchain addresses and transaction hashes, card status, transaction records, fees, and internal ledger entries.
  • Device and usage information: device and app information, IP address, timestamps, session data, security events, diagnostic information, and interactions with product features.
  • Compliance information: results and risk signals received from identity, fraud-prevention, card-program, and compliance providers.

Identity documents

Identity-document images, selfies, video, and related verification materials are collected through a secure experience operated by our identity-verification provider. Saker is designed not to store those raw document images in ordinary app storage. We may receive verification results and identity details needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, investigate issues, or support an appeal.

Public blockchains

Blockchain addresses and transactions may be publicly visible and cannot be deleted or changed by Saker. Information written to a public blockchain is governed by that network rather than this policy alone.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • create, authenticate, maintain, and secure your account;
  • verify identity and determine product eligibility;
  • provide deposit, balance, card, transaction, and support features;
  • process requests and communicate service or security information;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, money laundering, sanctions violations, and other prohibited activity;
  • maintain financial, compliance, security, and audit records;
  • debug, monitor, analyze, and improve reliability and customer experience; and
  • comply with law, regulation, court orders, and valid government requests.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use full card credentials or identity documents for advertising.

4. How we share information

We may share information only as needed with:

  • Service providers that support hosting, communications, analytics, security, customer support, and technical operations.
  • Identity and compliance providers that perform verification, fraud, sanctions, and risk checks.
  • Card, payment, and banking-program providers, including Native where applicable, that determine eligibility, issue or service cards, process transactions, and meet regulatory obligations. The legal issuing entity may vary by eligible program and is disclosed before activation.
  • Professional advisers and authorities when reasonably necessary to protect rights, investigate misconduct, comply with law, or respond to valid legal process.
  • A successor organization in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

These parties may process information under their own privacy notices when they act as independent controllers or regulated service providers.

5. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These include access controls, encrypted transport, restricted handling of sensitive card data, security logging, and separation of operational responsibilities. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain financial and audit records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with legal, tax, anti-money-laundering, card-network, and contractual obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and jurisdiction. Some immutable ledger, security, and blockchain records may remain after an account is closed, but we limit their use and may de-identify them where appropriate.

7. International processing

Saker and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing, and to appeal a decision. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. These rights may be limited where we must retain information for financial, security, compliance, or legal reasons.

To make a request, email developer@sakercards.com from the email associated with your Saker account. See our account deletion instructions for deletion requests. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Children

Saker is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity required in your jurisdiction to use the service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our product, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice in the app or by email.
